Christmas!!!!

La navidad llegó a  nuestro colegio... Y además de cantar villancicos, hemos decorado nuestras puertas de clases con árboles de navidad hechos con material reciclado. ¡Así de bonitos quedaron algunos de ellos!!!!!! El colegio ha quedado precioso!!!!!

Thanksgiving Day!November

El 28 de noviembre celebramos en nuestras aulas la fiesta americana que se llama Thanksgiving o Día de Acción de gracias.
Se celebra esta fiesta para agradecer todo lo que tenemos e nuestra vida.Una fiesta que reúne  a todos los miembros de la familia, cenan juntos y disfrutan de ese día. La historia de por qué se hace no todo el mundo la conoce, así que ¡Vamos a ver la historia de esta fiesta tan maravillosa!

Los pilgrins eran las personas que fueron de Inglaterra a los Estados Unidos para buscar una vida mejor. Navegaron en un barco llamado Plymouth. Al llegar a los Estados Unidos se dieron cuenta que no podían cultivar la tierra que habían llevado desde Inglaterra y también que no sabían cazar. Así que empezaron a morir de hambre y de enfermedades. Al ver esta situación, un nativo decidió ayudarles.¡Les dio comida para sobrevivir!!!!así que para recordar este día de gracias y hasta hoy, los estadounidenses celebran esta fiesta!!! 





The year on Novembrer 28 we celebrare in our classrooms the American festival of Thaksgiving.
Thanksgiving is celebrated to be grateful for all that we have on our lives. A festival on which all the family members come together and eat dinner and enjoy family time.

 Let´s see the story behind it. The Pilgrims were the people who came to America from England looking for a better life. They sailed in a ship called Plymouth.Now upon reaching The United States They realised that the cropsthey had brought wouldn't grow and they were not very good hunters. They slowly started dying of hunger and deseases.Upon seeing their condition, a nativo Indian helped the pilgrims by giving them food and i remembrance of this feas shared, Americans to this day celebrate Thanksgiving!!!

Halloween in CEIP. Torrequebrada

LLegó  a nuestro colegio una de nuestras fiestas preferidas…Halloween!!!!! Fue increíble la que se montó. ¡Muchas gracias a todos por hacerlo posible ¡Mamás, papás, auxiliar de comunicación, maestros y maestras, y los niños y niñas de nuestro cole!!!!! ¡¡¡¡FELICIDADES!!!!

El huerto terrorífico fue espeluznante, así quedó la puerta.

Diwali, October

Hola a todos., en esta entrada Ayushi nos va a hablar sobre  Diwali. ¡ESTAR ATENTOS!!!!!!!

 Es una fiesta de 5 días y se considera la fiesta más grande de la India norte. Se llama  también la fiesta de las luces porque toda la gente ilumina los diyas interiores,  así como los de fuera de su casa.Este año lo hemos celebrado el 27 de octubre. 

Sobre los 5 días: -

1.    Dhanteras: - Es el día en el que todo se limpia su casa para que Dios bendiga con su presencia en nuestra casa. Este día se considera mas favorable para comprar oro, plato y utensilios. También la gente compra electrodomésticos para su casa. 

2.    Choti Diwali (o pequeño Diwali): -El segundo día, las casa están decorados por faroles;  oraciones están recitados y los diyas se ponen en cada rincón de la casa. Visitamos familia y amigos para compartir esta celebración.

3.    Diwali: - El día que todos esperamos. Este dia las casas están decorados por rangolis y mas diyas. Rezamos y después comemos juntos. Hay algunas familias que siguen quemando petardos pero un mucho por contaminación.

4.    Bhai Duuj: - el quinto dia se celebra el amor que comparte hermanos y con esto acabamos con las fiestas. 

     Hi everybody, today I am going to tell you a little about Diwali. This year(2019) it was celebrated on October 27.

 It is a 5-day festival and is considered to be the biggest festival in north India. It is also called the festival of lights as everybody lights up lots of diyas inside and outside their houses.

About the 5 days: -

1.    Dhanteras- It is the day on which everybody cleans their house so that God welcomes us with their presence. This day is considered to be most favourable to buy gold, silver and kitchenware. Also a lot of electronic items are bought on this day.

2.    Choti Diwali (or Little Diwali):- On the second day, houses are decorated with lanterns  ;prayers are recited and diyas are put in every corner of the house. We visit our friends and families to celebrate the festival.

3.    Diwali:- The star of the show. On this day houses are decorated with rangolis and more diyas. Prayers are offered to our Gods and families eat together. Some families burn firecrackers but less of this is seen nowadays because of pollution.

4.    Bhai Duuj- The fifth day celebrates the love between a brother and sister and this is how the 5 day festival comes to an end.

OUR LANGUAGE ASSISTANT FOR THIS SCHOOL YEAR, October

Nuestra Auxiliar de conversación para este curso se llama Ayushi y es de la India. 

Gracias a ella estamos conociendo un poco más de la cultura de su país dónde se encuentra  en el mapa del mundo cuáles son sus fiestas… ¡¡¡¡

Es increíble la de cosas que no enseña. ¡!!

Decidió venir aquí a España por dos motivos: 

1ª)Para mejorar su nivel de español y para vivir de primera mano la cultura española.

2ª)Para estudiar las diferencias en el sistema educativo en España y en la India. Conocerlo durante esta oportunidad desde la realidad de las clases de nuestro centro para luego ponerlo en prácticas cuando finalice sus estudios como maestra. 

Algo que debemos saber sobre su país, es que esta situado en el sureste de Asia. Su capital es Nueva Delhi que está  en el norte, donde ella nació.

Entre muchas más cosas, la India es famosa por: su comida realizada con especias, el yoga, la diversidad cultural y de lenguas habladas allí, la peculiaridad de su población y tráfico y allí se encuentra una de las siete maravillas del mundo Taj Mahal .

Hi! I am Ayushi and I am the English auxiliar in C.E.I.P. Torrequebrada, Aguadulce for the year 2019-2020.

A little about me.

I come from India and I am 25 years old. I got this opportunity from the Instituto Cervantes in Delhi.

I have come for this scholarship for two main reasons: -

1.    The obvious reason of improving Spanish language and imbibe the Spanish culture.

2.    To understand the differences between the education system in India and Spain. I want to understand how I can take back my experience and apply it when I go back to India and become a teacher.

A little about my country now.

India is situated in South-east of Asia. Its capital is New Delhi (where I was born), in the north of the country.

India is famous for: -

1.    Its spicy and curry food.

2.    Yoga

3.    It’s diverse culture and the languages spoken here.

4.    Its population and hence its traffic.

5.    The famous Taj Mahal (one of the seven wonders of the world).

The European Day of Languages,26th of September

CELEBRACIÓN DEL DÍA EUROPEO DE LAS LENGUAS

                    El 26 de septiembre es el de Día Europeo de las Lenguas, según proclamó el Consejo de Europa con el apoyo de la Unión Europea el 6 de diciembre. Su principal objetivo es fomentar el aprendizaje de idiomas en toda Europa, tanto en jóvenes como en ancianos.

 La actividad propuesta para celebrar y contribuir desde el CEIP. Torrequebrada ha sido la siguiente:

ADOPTA UNA PALABRA


 Se ha asignado una palabra para adoptar para cada curso, desde los proyectos que conviven en el centro. Luego los alumnos/as de cada clase traducirán esa palabra adoptada a todas las lenguas oficiales que se hablan en Europa. Cuando tengamos todas las traducciones, elaboraremos una nube a tamaño mitad de cartulina y decorarla para colocarlas en el Hall del colegio.
¡Así de bonitos quedaron!!!
